An “island” of neutrality and stability, Switzerland prides itself on being the eccentric maverick among the nations of Europe. Although Zürich and Geneva may be world-class cities, the charm of Switzerland lies in its majestic countryside and cultural tradition. From the majestic Matterhorn to the panoramic train rides, the Swiss landscape is in a class of its own. But thanks to its high cost of living, traveling through could get expensive fast. After every rendezvous, I needed another ten years to build up my savings account to afford a proper trip. Some days, I might have the financial resources to take on Switzerland properly.
